Ken Starr

Ken Starr is Of Counsel to The Lanier Law Firm. Formerly a U.S. Circuit Judge, U.S. Solicitor General, Independent Counsel, and partner at Kirkland & Ellis and Gibson Dunn law firms, he also served as President and Chancellor of Baylor University and Dean of Pepperdine School of Law. He serves on the boards of Christian Legal Society, Advocates International and Alliance Defending Freedom. Throughout his career, he has championed the cause of religious liberty and freedom of conscience for all persons. Ken is a NY Times best-selling author of Religious Liberty in Crisis; First Among Equals; and Contempt: A Memoir of the Clinton Investigation. He and his wife Alice live in Waco, Texas and are blessed with three children and eight grandchildren.
