February 2021

Our team is working hard to plan the NRB 2021 Convention at the Gaylord Texan in Grapevine, Texas. After a long and difficult year in which many of our in-person gatherings, church services, and important meetings have been canceled or forced online, we are all looking forward to gathering in person again. What makes the NRB Convention unique is the networking, equipping, and fellowship among Christian communicators.

As we all look forward to once again meeting in person, we're finally seeing some good news. According to The Atlantic:

"COVID-19 is in retreat in America. New daily cases have plunged, and hospitalizations are down almost 50 percent in the past month...Some pandemic statistics are foggy, but the current decline of COVID-19 is crystal clear."

Experts are increasingly optimistic on the timeline for a full return to normal, with some researchers even suggesting we may have herd immunity by April.

We're excited to gather in person at the Gaylord Texan for NRB 2021 on June 21-24, 2021. Our team is taking all necessary precautions to make sure that this event is a safe and rewarding experience for all attendees.

Here's what we're doing to keep you safe:

  • We are in regular contact with health and safety experts and corporate leaders at the Gaylord Texan and Marriott. Their teams are continuing to implement industry-leading cleanliness standards. The Texan is regularly hosting live, in-person events for large groups.

  • We are carefully monitoring federal, state, and local guidelines and mandates. Currently, there are no mandates preventing us from holding NRB 2021 as planned.

  • Our team is planning for multiple scenarios on-site at the Gaylord Texan, including larger ballrooms to allow for more social distancing if needed.

We are eager to gather again safely, and we know many of you are too. We look forward to seeing you in June!
