Proclaim 17 Convention to Feature 80+ Speakers, 8 Summits/Tracks
WASHINGTON (NRB) – Proclaim 17, the NRB International Christian Media Convention in Orlando, Florida, will feature more than 80 speakers who will cover a broad range of topics – from ministry and media to professional development and public policy.
“The NRB Convention is a must-attend event for those in the business of reaching people for Jesus Christ through media,” said NRB President & CEO Dr. Jerry A. Johnson. “Thousands come to our Convention each year looking for connections, resources, and insights that will help them advance their mission, their organizations, and their careers. And with the six summits and two tracks that will be held the week of Proclaim 17, attendees will get the insights most relevant to and useful for the work that they do.”
General session speakers at the February 27-March 2 Convention include ministry leaders R.C. Sproul, Nick Hall, and Tony Evans, who will be among those preaching on the “solas” of the Protestant Reformation, the 500th anniversary of which the Convention will be celebrating.
The Pastors Track, which debuted last year, will feature Lee Strobel, Eric Metaxas, and Erwin Lutzer, among others.
Speaking at the all-new Professional Development Track will be Fox News Channel’s Lauren Green, as well as acting and filmmaking couple Kevin and Sam Sorbo, among others.
Other notable speakers include actor Corbin Bernsen (Film & Entertainment Summit), Facebook’s Don Seymour (Digital Media Summit), Cru President Stephen Douglass (Great Commission Summit), communications maven Phil Cooke (TV Summit), social researcher Shaunti Feldhahn (Radio Summit), and church leaders Jonathan and Shari Falwell (Church Media Summit).
Each of the summits and tracks feature experts in their respective fields and are designed to present Christian ministry and media professionals with strategic tips, trends, and insights that can help them advance in their endeavors.
In addition, Proclaim 17 will feature public policy sessions with panelists including former Atlanta Fire Chief Kelvin Cochran, Fox News & Commentary Host Todd Starnes, family expert James Dobson, columnist David Limbaugh, and entrepreneurs David and Jason Benham, among others.
Also speaking at Proclaim 17 will be syndicated radio host Hugh Hewitt, the keynote speaker of the Media Leadership Dinner, and Fox News Channel’s Sean Hannity.
Among the thousands of Christian media and ministry professionals who attend the NRB Convention each year are radio and TV station owners and operators, pastors, church media professionals, radio and TV program producers, college educators, students, filmmakers, web and mobile developers, social media managers, marketing representatives, and ministry staff members.
Proclaim 17 will be held February 27-March 2 at the Orlando World Center Marriott in Orlando, Florida. The Exposition – which will showcase the products and services of around 200 companies, ministries, and organizations – will open its doors Tuesday, February 28, at 10 a.m.
